Building progress and updates
The long anticipated second phase of the Concord Medical Centre extension began on 10th October 2016.
This further extension to our building will provide patients with another 20 consulting rooms, a Health Promotion Facility and other accommodation for additional services to be offered. This next phase of development is intended to enable the practice to provide its growing numbers of patients with an extended range of services in modernised medical premises. In conjunction with UHB Oncology, we also hope to increase the capacity to care for local residents with cancer, bringing these vital treatments closer to patients’ homes.
The extension, which is likely to take up to 12 months to complete, will be located on the existing staff car park. To accommodate the construction site facilities during the building works, there are temporary restrictions to the amount of patient parking.
PROGRESS UPDATES (INCLUDING PHOTOS) WILL BE POSTED TO THIS PAGE
Notice for patients:
We are expecting to be able to move into our new building around mid-October.
We will inform patients of specific dates once we have more accurate information.
